Mohamed Mamshooq is a legal professional with extensive expertise across various areas of law. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Lawspective LLP, where he serves as the focal point for legal consultancy to prominent clients.
While specializing in Corporate and Criminal Law and leading the firm’s Criminal Practice, Mamshooq has substantial experience in litigation and has represented clients in diverse cases.
Mamshooq is also a FIDIC certified legal expert with specialized knowledge in construction law and contract management.
In addition to his role at Lawspective LLP, Mamshooq served as the Legal Consultant for Society for Health Education (SHE), one of the most reputed NGOs in the Maldives. He also previously worked as the Assistant Manager of Legal Affairs & Property Management at Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation.

Sheeza Latheef is a Partner at Lawspective LLP and specializes in Corporate Law and Legislative Drafting. She provides legal services to government agencies, businesses, and individuals. Her experience includes drafting legislation and regulations, conducting stakeholder consultations, advising on regulatory compliance, negotiating contracts, and representing clients in civil and family disputes.
She has worked with institutions such as the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives, and Meritorious LLP. Her contributions include policy development, legislative review, litigation management, and facilitating awareness programs on various legal topics. She has also taught Maldivian legal frameworks and specific laws to undergraduate students at Maldives Polytechnics and Avid College. Sheeza holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Criminal Law, and a Bachelor’s in Shari’ah and Law.

Aishath Mihna Nasih holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law, graduating with first-class distinction, and a Master of Arts in Social Policy, achieved with distinction as the highest academic honor. Her exemplary performance in her master’s studies highlights her deep understanding of social policy frameworks and her dedication to addressing complex societal challenges.
With over a decade of experience in media as a writer and journalist, she has extensively covered lifestyle and social sector issues, bringing a unique perspective to her work in policy and advocacy. For the past two years, Mihna has served as a Policy Officer at the Family Protection Authority, the leading regulatory body in the Maldives focused on preventing domestic violence at a national level. In this role, she has developed in-depth knowledge of key legal frameworks, including the Domestic Violence Prevention Act, Sexual Offences Act, Sexual Harassment Act, and Gender Equality Act. Her expertise in these legislative areas has been instrumental in shaping policies and practices aimed at protecting vulnerable communities.
She has also held the position of Executive Director of the Fertility Support Community for a three-year term, where she worked to promote awareness and support for individuals facing fertility challenges.

Ali Fayyaz Faiz is a lawyer with extensive expertise in civil law, family law, and land law. With a Bachelor’s degree in Shari’ah and Law from Villa College and additional credentials in business administration, Fayyaz combines his deep legal knowledge with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
His career spans key positions across both private and public sectors. As an Associate at Wisham, Zahir & Co LLP, he honed his litigation and advisory skills, particularly in civil and corporate matters.
His time as an Assistant Investigation Officer at the Anti-Corruption Commission equipped him with invaluable experience in regulatory compliance and investigative processes, ensuring legal precision and ethical integrity in his work.
Currently serving as Senior Political Director at the Ministry of Finance, Fayyaz continues to leverage his legal acumen to shape policy and guide regulatory frameworks.

Mohamed Naabith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Shari’ah and Law with Honors from the Maldives National University and a Master’s degree in Comparative Laws from the Islamic University of Maldives. He successfully completed the Bar Exam in 2024, further solidifying his expertise in the legal field.
Naabith began his legal career at the Family Court, where he developed in-depth knowledge and practical experience in family law. Currently, he serves as a Senior Legal Officer at Business Center Corporation (BCC), providing legal assistance, ensures compliance with regulatory frameworks and supports the company in addressing complex legal challeges. His areas of specialization include; Contract law, Company law, Business laws, family law and employment law.

Azfa holds a Bachelors in Shariah and Law with Honors from Villa College of Maldives, and a Masters in Law (LLM) from the University of West of England. Azfa was called to the Bar of the Maldives during February of 2019, and has been a licensed Public Notary since 2022.
She has extensive experience in corporate, commercial and telecommunications Industry from her current role as the Assistant Manager Legal and Regulatory at Ooredoo Maldives, providing her expertise in legal, compliance and operational matters in a regulated industry. She has also worked in significant projects including acquiring of submarine cables w and assisted with drafting of regulations related to telecommunications since joining Ooredoo in 2019.
